Nope and nope. One is perfect in a 5, but two of any kind, even two females, is not going to work in a 5. Sorry!

I know people have kept 2 males in a divided 5gal, I myself wouldn't.

Too small IMO.

Great for 1 though

I keep two males in a divided five gallon. They flare at each other a lot and I don't really suggest it :/ If I had somewhere to put another tank so they could have their own I would, but sadly every space in my room is already occupied by a tank. I'd just stick with one betta if I were you.

This is what I'm doing/did I bought 2 bettas 1 male 1 female. The male owns 5G and female for community ! Once my new 10G is cycled they will be happy
