I don't know if these observations even matter or make a difference but I thought I would post them anyway.
First of all, my C. trilineatus spawned for the first time shortly after I removed the clown loaches. The corys were finally able hide in their stump.
Second, the water parameters changed little if any, including temperature. The only real change I have made is to start adding leaf zone. This led to much healthier anacharis and java moss that actually grows fairly well.
Third, 4 of my corys are half the size of the one I thought was mature. The largets one was the last one to spawn.
I don't know if the changes mattered but I think it is worth posting. If you have seen anything odd that doesn't meet the accepted changed needed to get corys to breed, post them here. Could lead to a revelation in breeding corys.
