I am on the right track with my new 10 gal fish-in cycling.
Have two juveniles tiny fish in it, a Blue Ram and a Panda Corry (will move the Ram soon in a 75 gal).
When my cycling is done I am planning to get one more of each fish and maybe 2 more, for a total of 6.
I was thinking to get a male beta and am not sure yet about 6th one.
Since i'm gonna move the Rams to the 75 Gal soon will end up with 4 fish in my 10 gal.
What do you suggest as far as my plan and the choice of fish.
Pls feel free to make recommendations.

The ram is going into a larger tank, right?

So, what would you propose keeping with the betta? Please keep in mind that 10 gallons in not really large enough for a "community" tank. Corys should be kept a minimum of 5 in a group. That would be too many for 10 gallon.

I'm from the school that doesn't think bettas in community tanks are a good idea. You will get differing opinions on this though. The basic rule is that if you plan on keeping a betta with other fish, be sure to have a backup plan in place for if/when it doesn't work out.
