Fish ID

So I went to the fish store with my friend to get some bottom feeders. I recommend cories cause you really can't go wrong with them. 

While we were looking we found 2 huge cories about 2.5 or 3 inches.

Does any know what kind it is and if it's normal for them to get this big? The fish store got them from some guy who was tearing down his tank so they didn't know exactly what species they were.
