My petsmart and petco have insane prices like 500+ and parents won't let me buy off cragslist because the list time I bought a decent looking tank and it turn out sucky, leaked often no matter what ect

I don't know if you'll find a glass 40b online with no shipping cost. Having something like that delivered to your doorstep at all might even be a challenge.

IMO, wait till the Petco dollar per gallon sale and pick one up. Should be within the next month or two if you can wait.
