Heater for 5 gallon

I just picked up a 5 gallon tank to put a betta in, I have 50W heaters, would one be ok or do I need to get a 25W? Thanks in advance......

It will be just fine. But do you have a filter? Because with our one the water will not get stirred around and the temp would not be consistent.

Then it would be just fine. The kind of heater you have can be for a 2-10 gallon tank. It will be just perfect.
