HELP needed to identify fish

I acquired some fish recently and the previous owner had no idea what they are, neither do I. Can anyone help?

The first is around 4" long, possibly a cichlid?? -



The second is the bigger longer fish to the left of the Silver Dolllar -

The first one looks like some sort of big south american cichlid, the names on the tip of my tongue but i don't know it quite yet!

Thanks for your reply, i have googled cigar shark and you might be right. This one i have has a strange mouth, i will try and get a better picture tonight and post again to see if anyone can confirm.

If the name comes to you can you let me know? This guy is similar in size and body shape to my green terror but with a different face, fins and markings.
