so today I fished out a bunch of mosquito larvae and some pink worms from a bucket of water I've had in the back yard for a bit, I know mosquito larvae is safe but are the worms? IMG_1177.jpg
 
The only way to answer that question is to say "probably okay". As long as the insects are small enough, easily digestible, and harvested in a pesticide/weed killer free zone. I catch grasshoppers, crickets, catapillers and worms almost daily and feed them to my fish and tree frogs. Note: frogs are in wife's terrarium. I live in the country. No shortage of bugs.
