I am in the process of setting up a new tank, 38 gallon, measures 36 x 12 x 18.
Main interest is in Angel fish so the question is:
How many Angels will a tank this size support along with Guppies and catfish?
On this website he discusses the bio load of fish. Interesting about a 4" vs a 2" fish. Of course, this is in general terms, and doesn't take into account the effectiveness of your filter and amount and frequency of feeding. But, it's still an interesting read https://aquariumscience.org/index.php/13-stocking/
I would try, although it's difficult, to either do all one sex of angels or just stick with a pair, since they are pretty nasty to tank mates when spawning
Thanks for the reply, interesting article and based on what I read 4 angels, 6 guppies and 4 cory's would be a safe bet with maybe some room for a few mollies.
I got a catfish and the next morning I had a Fancy Guppy missing. Well I look at my catfish and his belly grew..
I took the Catfish back to Petsmart.
So I would be cautious about mixing the two.
