Sexing and breeding cory catfish

I just recently acquired a new 10 gal tank and also a big albino Cory catfish. I also have another 10 gal that has an emerald green Cory catfish among other fish. I was told recently that Cory catfish do best kept in pairs or schools. I was wondering if there was any good way to tell the sex of these fish and if there is any possibility of the two breeding and if I should combine the two into one tank or keep them separated.

cant answer the question of sexing, but they like to be in groups of 5+... they just wont be happy unless they have some friends, probably wont get them to breed either, imo
