Stocking a 16gal

What small fish besides neons cardinals an widows would look great in a 16 gal?

Platies!! I was just in the local pet store and they got in some mickey mouse platies and I fell in love. I'm usually not the biggest livebearer fan but these suckers won me over.

They aren't overly colorful but celestial pearl danios have a neat look about them. I would recommend a species only tank as I hear they are pretty timid though

Ember tetra, chilli rasbora, cherry barb. There's lots! Guppies ( but I think they may get nipped) killifish.

I don't want anything that's slow ie long flowing tails becouse I have a community betta I want anything that can outrun him

My current stocking is
6 black widow tetras
2 neons
3 cardinals
Betta
1 apple snail
Maybe I should do a tetra tank excluding betta but Finnish a school of cardinals 6 or 8 and get another species or make a school of neons??

Up the neons and cardinals to five each and drop the widows

I would just stick with neons. Cardinals are a bit more delicate.
