Hi all!
I have a 72 gallon cichlid tank with an in-tank drain which flows into a 10 gallon sump tank. I use a canister filter (Eheim Professional 3) as a pump and filter. It doesn't seem like this setup is doing a good job of keeping the water clear. For example, there's a lot of floating debris that isn't cleared.
Do you think my pump/filter is just not strong enough? Or should I switch to a HOB setup? I like the canister filter/sump idea since it keeps my tank uncluttered.
Thanks!
