what does the l066 mean

hi ive been looking at some different catfish but the rare sort like the zebra pleco(l046) and the king tiger pleco(l066) but i dont know what the l066 or the l046 means its just another bit of infomation to know really so if any knows please write back when you can

The L numbers are designations for different species, since there are many. Many don't pick up nicknames or scientific names till later.
