What is the world is this???

As the question says... What in the world is this??!! O.o

My tank is still cycling everything is good..

But today i checked the filter to find out this thing... I dont know what that is...

I dont know if that thing is normal or.... I dont know....
Never seen such thing :/

Well my tank's parameters are

Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite: 0.25ppm
Nitrate: 5.0ppm

Well i was doing the fishless cycling process but ended up with a fish in long story.. The tank is 20g and has a dwarf gourami in there he seems happy.. I do daily 30% percent water changes.. Because i dont want ammonia and nitrites sky high.!!! It has been cycling like almost 3 weeks ago... Im almost done..

It looks like some algae. It's hard to ID though. It's on the glass correct?

Looks strange. It almost looks like an algae wafer that has swelled up from being in the water...?

Well.. when in doubt, take it out. Some sort of algae or possibly (unlikely) a fungal growth

My first thought was a turf algae, but I've never heard of either turf or bubble algae in a freshwater tank.
