Amount of rcs in 10 gallon tank

Hello all! I'm setting up a 10 gallon planted tank that will be used to keep red cherry shrimp. How many shrimp would I be able to keep in it? Thanks!

Don't know what you plan is, but if you just get 10 or so, assuming you have M&F, they are likely to breed and fill up you tank in short order.

Ok great! I just planted some anacharis today, and I'm still going to get java moss to cover my driftwood.

I have about 40 fire red shrimp in my planted 10 gallon, and it does not look overcrowded. They are very small and have a small bioload. I started with 5 and they have multiplied to this many in about 4 months.

Wow, I'm excited to begin the colony! I'm getting 10 to begin with, hope they won't overload the tank too much then
