Snail Identification Please!

So I found this little snail in my aquarium a few days ago and I’m wondering if anyone knows what he might be? I’m assuming he hitched a ride on the new floaters I got a few weeks ago because I didnt have any snails in this tank. I honestly haven’t seen him since I took this photo so I hope it’s good enough to identify him!

Hi and welcome to the forum

It could be a young Malaysian Trumpet/ livebearing snail. They are awful things that breed out of control and should not be kept in tanks. I would remove it before it reproduces and you end up with thousands.

It is a little bit of an exaggeration. One can manage the population by not over feeding and other things.

But if you have one then you have more than one would be usually true.

Easier to get rid of one or a couple than a bunch though.

They can be beneficial to move sand around, but a chop stick can do that too.
