help

i started my sw aquarium a month and a half ago, and now there browns stuff and little white spirals on the glass.
anyone know what that is?
can it just be that purple stuff starting to grow on the back glass of the aquarium.
if not, how do i get that purple stuff? theres lots on my live rock.

Probably algae. you can scrap it off the glass or vacuum it off the sand.

Could be beneficial "pods" or featherdusters. It is hard to tell with no pics. Can you scrape them off?

Generally this starts off as a very bright green color.

It will grow by its self.

Also try not to overfeed. The white spirals which is probaby copepods and amphipods but it is showing because you are over feeeding, just a possibility.

alright thx for the info.
andthe fish, there doing well.except i'm not shur if they like when the christmas wrasse whips and stirs the sand. i guess its looking for food cause he swims back and forth sideways so he can look down.
