Water Change during Cycle

I was wondering if you need to do a water change during the shrimp cycle? I did a water change tonight. The article on here doesnt say anything about water changes during the cycle. Did I mess things up by doing a water change? It was only like 10%....nothing big.

A water change is not necessary and may slightly prolong your cycle. No harm done just a little more time.

10% change isn't gonna be noticable. Basically you don't wanna change water because that'll lower ammonia and nitrites...and you need both of those to feed the bacteria.
