Stocking a 20 gallon

I like colorful and calm fish like CPDs and Other small yet bright fish. Like Mollys and platys.

I have a 20 long also, and I have a variety of mollies in it. Also, I like a betta plus neon tetras (maybe 6 of them) in a shallow-ish tank (which I consider the 20 long to be). The betta plus tetras is a very clean tank for me.

Have you had a tank before? If not, don't skimp on the heater and filter!

So what about 20 CPD and a pair of cooler water Apistogramma like Borrelli. That would give good and vibrant color and a few centerpiece fish to liven it up.
