Which is better.

Ok so yesterday I got a used 20 high. It came with the lights and a heater and a sponge filter. Well I have cleaned the light and sponge filter. The filter is a aqua clear 300. The filter I have now is a aqua tech 10-20 gallon carbon pad filter. So I was wondering which one i should use on the tank to keep the water the cleanest.

Both! More filtration the cleaner, ( I've never used either sry )

If I had to choose between the two, i'd pick the aquaclear. But I agree, both!

I would use the AC alone, with two sponges.

Aqua clears are amazing. I run 2 AC110's on my 75 gallon. Now... I fell in love with the Fluval C4 but that's for my 27 gallon planted tank. The C4 is amazing IMO. Was loud at first but I guess it broke in or whatever cause its quiet now. It also has a wet/dry trickle system.

Ok see I can't run them both because I'm going to sell the lesser of the two. With my ten gallon. And the aqua clear has one sponge and two bags of bio beeds.
