Disappearing colour

I have noticed this morning that one if my neons is almost clear has anyone seen this before and is it Ill it's eating ok and seems happy enough

Hi Dave.

Was it just after you turned on the light. I noticed a few of mine get really pale when the light is just turned on. But usually come back to normal after about half an hour.

No i have been checking it all morning and it ain't changed I noticed it last night when I finished work but never thought anything of it but looked it up and it's called neon tetra disease

Could be bacterial as well - either way can you QT?

Unfortunately it died last night just hope it hasn't infected the rest of my fish
