I dont really know how to word this, but say there is a disease on one of my fish, like fungus or ich, does it somehow stick to the plants? Like if I took a plant from an infected tank and put it in another, does it affect the new tank, or can the disease only travel from fish to fish?

Thanks.

yes, disease and other conditions can be spread by the transfer of plants. whether it carries over enough of the disease to truely affect the new tank, that will depend on many factors and tank conditions. low concentration bleach dips can be used to greatly reduce the chances of cross-contamination, but not all plants can handle a bleach dip.
