My fish are sick and I have a nerite snail in their tank. I wanted to know if the treatment I bought for them which is Tetra Lifeguard All-In-One Treatment would harm or kill the nerite snail I have in the tank.

How much water should I change before putting my snail back

So I am going to separate my snail from the tank for the duration of the treatment. But at the end it says to change 25% of the water. If I change more like 70% of the water would it be fine to put my snail back into the tank or would the treatment still hurt/kill it?

I would put some activated carbon in the filter for a few days to remove any medication (ha ha answered one of my own posts) and some more water changes to remove anything non-organic that might be in there that might affect your snail before returning him.

Just to confirm. You need to remove carbon from your filter or cartridges before medicating. Not sure you know to do that.
