He may be stuck in a cave intended for a small pleco. Still gets food but that's the problem. If his belly shrinks he may be able to get his dorsal fin out.

My raphael catfish got stuck more than once. I ended up having to carefully break the ornaments apart. If he is stuck in there, it is better to try and gently get him out.

Well I'm not sure he's stuck yet. It just seems that way. I'll see if I can get him out tonight.

I did and he wiggled out. I moved the cave on it's side and he hasn't returned.
