Should I put this fish down? Need Advice

Well, I tried feeding my Tiger Barb peas and it did not help.

He is very bloated and some of his scales are sticking out. Probably Dropsy.

My question is, should I euthanize? I don't want him to suffer.

Has anybody had any success curing Dropsy?

And second, he doesn't appear to be in pain, still swimming and eating.

What do you guys think? I really just want to do what is best for the fish.

Dropsy is curable but the success rate is very small. Ultimately it is your choice.

I agree with alshain. Dropsy is usually a secondary condition, the first either being a prior disease/infection or poor water quality.

What are your perameters?

QT him and treat with Jungles Fungus Clear or Maracyn-Two. I've treated it sucessfully before with the Jungle product.
