I know aquacultured is more environmentally friendly.
Well, Bob Fenner and Anthony Calfo make a point in their new book, that aquacultured rock is not more environmentally friendly than harvested reef rubble. Their point is that the reef rubble is a renewable resource, but the mined terrestrial rock used in aquaculture is not.
My question is what is the differences in life forms and the amount of life from the gulf than from say fiji
I have purchased both, and IME
, the gulf LR
has always contained more life, however this includes undesirable hitchikers as well.
