Hard to tell from the pic because of focus and lack of scale. Is it a polyp of some kind, or a tube worm or mushroom perhaps?

yeah sorry about the picture quality it's an iPhone, I think it could be a mushroom, I did add some a few months back but never see them thought they died off straight away

It's a mushroom. They do that when reaching for light.
