It been 10 year since I had a tank, now here is my tank.

This has only been up 1.5 weeks. It is live planted also. while it may have been to early to plant they seem to be doing well.... (my girlfriend bought them before i could do research)

I need a better filter to get the cloudness out of the water.

Wow it looks beautiful. What kind of camera are you using? Also, just a recommendation, you might wanna place your heater closer to the filter output so that the heat is more evenly distributed through the tank.

I moved the heater around a few times, in the 10 gallon I'm not really worried about it to much. i have 3 temp senors and they are all dead on on every corner

Th 75g does not have a heater right now, I had it out of the tank and it got broke :shocked!: so i keep the house at 75 so the tank don't get to cold until i can get a new heater (2). also why i havn't added any new fish.

when i get a heater It will be in my sump, I'm ordering the glass-holes 700GPH kit and going to buy a 20G for the sump, everything is ready (pump is 300-560 adjustable)

already built my own DIY filter for it with a 5gallon bucket

so once i get the sump running I'll get a background and add some fish, I'm having a local glass store cut me some glass for the top also

I used a nikon d300s camera and ether my 300mm f2.8 lens, 300 mm +1.7 TC (510mm f4.8) or my 35mm f1.8 for the shots and an SB-400 flash for most some bounced and some direct flash, some no flash and high ISO

Ok looks like you have everything in order lol. Just wondering, when you said Nikon D300 you didn't mean D3000 did you (just wanted to make sure lol).

Very nice. I was just asking, cuz I saw a D3000 at my local walmart the other day. That would have been a nice time to have 500 extra bucks layin around with some more extra with lenses lol.

look used or refurbish!!! and FYI the D5000 has the same sensor as the D300S so you only use features the D300S has

in fact the D5000, D90, and D300S share the same sensor, they are tweaked here and there but same IQ

for general photo and aquarium i would save long for the D5000, it has much better IQ at the High ISO then the D3000.

D5000 kit $575
35 F1.8 $200
SB-400 $120

great starter kit
