Thank you! They're very common in the US, some of the major chains sell them. They love to hide, though, so not as active or friendly as a Red Tail.

I pretty much have lol I have been a catfish fanatic sine I 1st see a baby 2" red tail, I just have a pearl arowana because the top looked empty most of the time and I want to add a fire eel because I like them

My male bristlenose pleco. His mate is a lot more shy- she usually hides behind "their" log.
A comparison shot of my four inch bristlenose pleco and my hifin (I was told it was a hifin anyways) pleco, who is two years old now.

Mostly eco-complete, but its mixed in with sand. My hifin is usually skittish too- I had to bribe "her" (her name is Mama, according to my 3 year old daughter) with algae wafers.

Wow he is a beast  it's hard to gauge size from a pic but I would say that is 1 of the biggest I have seen, good job!
