I think it will be fine. I believe the coloration is a response to the excessive light. Just resume the normal photo period.
I once left on vacation and even though the light was on a timer, I had switched to manual ON to check on something and forgot to set it back to AUTO. 8 days later I was greeted with string algae but the plants were fine. Thankfully it was a low light setup.
