Muddy water in a new planted tank

My tank been running for almost 3 days and I been having a problem with the water it's muddy color and I did water change and it's stay the same I'm running 2 filters it's 10 gallon tank and it's my first planted tank I did some research and from what I read I use the organic potting mix for substrate so I'm not sure if i did the right thing any advice would be really appreciated.

Did you cap it with anything or just use potting mix?

I put gravel on top of it but is not working so I'm Ganna break it down and start over with different substrate
