Planted 29 gallon tank

Hey, I just started a 29 gallon dirtied tank. I have gravel on top of the dirt so it looks nicer ect. Although its been about a week and the tank is still murky? Are there any reasons for this? I don't have very good filtration on the tank at the moment because it's just getting going.

Also do you have any tips on dwarf baby tears? I just got some, I'm planning on making it spread so the ground is covered. I have a quad t5 for my lighting though! How long do you think it'd take?

The tank is going to be murky because of the dirt. If you shut the bubbler/filter off for a few days it might eventually settle, but it'll get stirred right back up again when things start moving. You can try to do some big water changes and then when refilling put a plate down or something to avoid disturbing the substrate too much.
