The other side of the leaves are green.

if this is the same plant? i bought as rotala macranda a very nice plant leaves are very thin like flower petals and green and red lower leaves

No, the leaves are longer and each leaf id red on one side and green on the other from top to bottom

Ok the weird thing about this plant...In the tank it looks red with green on each side of leaf but outside of tank it looks all purple??

My guess is it's Alternanthera reineckii, but it's so beat up it's hard to tell.
