Picked up a few pants at Petsmart without doing much research. I trimmed the dying parts and just kind stuck them in the middle. I have sand and gravel mixed. I then added a dose of CO2 booster and some root tabs as recommended on the package.
My fishes are new to live plants. They still don't know quite what to make of them.
I put in some 8" Kyoto grass and 8" Peacock Ferns. {ETA - just discovered neither are really aquatic. Will keep them in until I get to my LFS which is a bit of a drive away. Maybe in a few days I can make it. In the mean-time the fishes are playing. I'll let them keep their new toys until I have replacements.}
