canister filter - which one

I think im going to add a canister filter to my 55 gallon tank FOWLV, which filter should i get, a FlistarXP2 or the Fluval 304?

I have used a Fluval 404 in my 55 gal FOWLR since last August with no complaints.I have not experienced the priming problems others have reported.

I having Fluval, also no problem since Jan. For Fluval priming, you actually need switch off the filter first, after water start to fillup the canister then only it's switch on.

I have a Fluval 304 and have been happy with it. I followed the instructions for priming and it worked fine.

I have a Fluval 404 also.

IMO the 304 is too small for your tank, go with the 404 (if you go with the Fluval at all that is).
