Being new in the tank it might take him a day or so before he feels comforable enough to eat. You can also try a good flake and frozen foods ( mysis, brime shrimp, ect.)

Yep, it is pretty normal for fish to take a little while to eat after introduction. 
I would try some frozen foods, and a dried seaweed sheet.
