120 litre freshwater

Hi im new to the forums. Was wanting to know if any one on here can help with plants. I have never kept live plants but am determined to see it through this time. But once again there dying. I'm doing a cycle byt? Surely the plants would thrive during this. I have a Rio125 so the t5 lighting unit.
