Aquarium Advice Newbie
My name is Jessica. I'm very new to the aquarium world, though it's in my blood. My estranged grandfather and father were both breeders of different tropical fish. I recently purchased a 20 gallon, cycled using a bio-boost (I know some people don't care for the fishless cycling but this stuff worked wonders in combination with using some gravel and decorative objects from a friend's established tank), and purchased 5 mollies a few weeks later. While new to the hobby, I have done a lot of research and am beginning to feel very comfortable in it.
I'm absolutely loving being a fish owner. I can't walk by the tank without stopping for a moment and just watching these guys. A few of them seem to have very distinct personalities which I think is so entertaining.
