I've been a lurker for a long time although I belong to several other forums. I had a great experience at a LFS near Ft Lauderdale and created a login just to tell others about it.
I Have had freshwater tanks for over 20 years. The current lineup is:
40G long - up for about 12 years
3 gal oval nano - humm..about 3 years
3 gal Picotope - about 6 months
10 gallon - grow out tank/QT
20 gallon long - another grow out tank
The grow-outs are for the 150 gallon on the back porch
I picked it up about 4 years ago for dirt cheap. Halfway through building the stand I ran out of *oomph*. I'm finally motivated and getting ready to finish the stand, and any freshwater tank is MUCH happier with a large plant population when it starts
