My name is Laurie and I live in Florida with my husband, dog, and fish. Getting back into aquariums after many years without. I had a couple of smaller aquariums when the kids were growing up.
Bought a 36 gallon bow aquarium for my husband for Christmas. I picked out the fish, feed them, clean, etc. Best gift I ever bought for someone else...lol.
I did not do the cycle as many, before me. I followed the PetSmart employee's advice of 24 - 48 hours. Just found this website today.
I started with 11 fish, lost 4, and just bought 6 today. I have some tetras, a couple of angel, dalmatian, and I can't remember what the others are called. What a terrible mommy already! Anyways, hoping to get some ideas and learn a lot of information that will make this a great experience for all involved.
