I am slowly getting back into fish. I have a three gallon that is housing my male Betta Picasso.
I am an animal care specialist not to be confused with a veterinarian, thank you. I am extremely sarcastic and have a rather abrasive personality proceed with caution. My first fish tank was a 10 gallon and I was two years old. I had 4 goldfish (don't fault me the 70's were hard on fish) yes I am old :p Goldenrod a pond comet lived to be 18 yrs old and Lightening who was gray with yellow fins (carp?) was 16 when he passed away. Both were given funerals and I was devastated by the loss. I bred guppies and sold them to a local pet shop and did that for 30 years. I have had many species of fish and was rather knowledgeable about them, now not so much :( I am slowly getting back into fish. I have a three gallon that is housing my male Betta Picasso.

I like to make latch hook rugs and spend time as moderator on a game site. When I am not doing those I read everything I can get my hands on except romance. I also enjoy jigsaw puzzles and being outdoors, especially in Autumn. I also collect puns :)

I am legally blind and use 20+ font to make blurry letters almost readable. I have arthritis in my hands, carpal tunnel in my wrists, scoliosis, chronic pain, fibromyalsia, plantar faciitis, autistic, and memory loss. Doctors keep finding new things wrong with me each time I go

Thank you for reading this wall of text :)

So glad you're here! Fan of Terry Pratchett or Piers Anthony at all?

Thank you all!

@Laeris I read Piers Anthony quite a bit Xone of Contention was the last book I read from the Xanth saga though. I haven't heard of Terry Pratchett before but I started to read the Searcher saga by Terry Goodkind. I want to finish that up I only have a few books from it.

Welcome! So much has changed over the years in this hobby.. There's so much to learn that you can't learn it all! Technology has especially improved in keeping things stable and healthier than years past.

Very sorry to hear about the list of conditions.......

Pic of the Betta is welcomed! :)
