I'm currently in the process of setting up a 90 gallon tank. It's 48x18x24.
Currently, I have a 30gallon reef, and would like for the 90 to be reef as well.

So, what I'm wondering is....

Should I have a sump/overflow?
Should I use Metal Halide or T-5 lighting?
Should I scrap the tank idea and get a plasma TV?

Thanks for the help,
Matt

mmm Thats a tough one for me. I am dying for a plasma TV!!! But upgrading from a 30 gallon to a 90 would be a top choice for me too.

Man thats tough!!!!
I would love a 42" Plasma TV..... I love my 125 but a 42"Plasma !!!!

You need to figure out what corals you want then you can pick a light..
Get a reef ready tank and use a sump, you will not be sorry..

Get the TV and just use the screensavers from the finding nemo dvd for the aquarium fix.

If your gonna get a tv get a big projection tv like a 65", plasma tv's are clearer but if you leave a still screen on for a while it will burn in!!!! For example if you play madden 2006 the score box is always on the top left if you play long enough the score board will burn into the screen and when you want to watch tv, you will see a blurry score board in the background.
