Choosing the right protein skimmer

So this is what I have....75 gallon tank, Emperor 400 Bio Filter, about 40 lbs of live rock with a crushed coral bottom. Fish wise I have a dragon wrasse, 3 cardinals and a brittle star fish. I have been researching like crazy protein skimmers and the choices out there are mind blowing. There are so many stories (good and bad) about skimmers, I just don't know how to sift through all of it.

On a side note, the protein skimmer I will need, will have to be the hang on type. I've read quite a bit about the Bak Pak brand of skimmers. Anyone out there using them.
