Need vho retro cap placement measurements please

I bought a DIY vho kit and 2 46.5 bulbs for a retro. My bulbs were back ordered and I was wanting to finish my wiring. Does anyone know the distance to mount the end caps so they are easy to change the bulbs and still work? I am no too familar with this type of system as I have always used metal halide. Can someone fill me in?

I would wait till the bulbs came in, this way your are only doing the install once. I would put the end caps on the bulb and then place it where you want it and then mark where it needs to go. If you don't install them right the bulb won't fit in or if too far apart the connection won't be tight and the bulbs won't fire. JMO
