We got this molly about 3-4 months ago, about a week or two after we got it her stomach started to grow so I figured that we must have gotten a pregnant fish. The thing is she hasn't given birth yet and I thought mollies were only supposed to be pregnant for 2 months max. She has also recently become aggressive. I'm considering getting my 10g set back up to put her in there because the last two days she has started attacking any fish that gets near her.
None of my other fish have gotten large bellies. The sides of her have started to turn translucent and black, are those the fry? or is she sick?

If you have a HOB filter you would want to rap a sponge around the intake to prevent the new born fry from being sucked into it. Or get a air filter, air pump with tubing $15 and air filter is $5. Good luck!
