I know. Next time i see it is going somewhere else. Does the tank it goes into have to be cycled?

It should be but its not a must. You will have to do more frequent water changes so the ammonia stays <.25

My ammonia in my main tank right now is 0.25. not good. Going to change water soon.

They can last a week + without food because they feed on their eggsack the first week of their life. Then they will eat crushed up flakes, "first bites", and baby brine shrimp.
