Stocking to breed firemouths

im guessing they havnt then. they may even need target fish to get going, or another firemouth for a better chance of a pair.

I agree with Ivan. Just let nature take it's course. Feed them high quality foods, keep the water clean with frequent water changes, and they will spawn when they are ready.

Do you have a growout tank for the fry? You'll need one, the time frame between hatching and selling/giving away to a LFS is a few months usually.
