Ive been watching him and sometimes the flow almost rips him off the rock with a small portion of his foot holding on. I hope he finds a place soon. Moves so darn slow too lol.

Yeah right, I can see that would be stressful! I have never actually seen mine move, they always have overnight. My second one though came on a rock so I was lucky he stayed there...

Ya, and if he does get ripped off he will just float around until he gets stuck to a ph or gets stuck on the overflow and i know it would be a ph.

Well i fell asleep the other night and i woke up to my gbta stuck in one of the powerheads. There was peices of him floating around the tank. I couldnt save him. Im so sad.

Oh that's not good news. I can't remember which thread it was but someone had posted a link to a DIY cover for powerheads to avoid it happening again :(

Sorry for your loss!

I have a RBTA and he recently split. When he did I was worried for the new half as it was getting pretty close to a ph. Turned it off and woke up to him stuck to it. Took a couple of days but he finally moved on his own. They obviously aren't used to having objects that create current in their environment or being "told" where they can and can't go. Would def keep ph off or try to get any new ones on a rock. They usually will stick to it of they have a decent foot hold.

Yeagh, i bought him on a rock, but he wanted to move somewhere else in the tank. Im going to get some sort of foam sleave to put over the ph's when i get another nem until its totally settled in.

I went to florida about 4 weeks ago and found this peice of rock washed up on the beach. I know its a coral skeleton but not sure what kind. I cured it for 3 weeks before puting it in the tank, although it dried out for a few days in the sun.

Woops forgot the pic lol

I came home from work and my heater had gotten stuck in the on position. When i realised it the water temp was over 90. Only had one coral, a green star polyp, pretty sure its dead. Going to leave it in for a few days to see if it opens up but i dont think it made it. What a bummer...

Picked up a spotted toby puffer the other day. I absolutely love this fish. He has tons of personality and is a pig. Ill post a pic of him later.

I can't wait to get my fowlr tank going, my LFS has had a saddle puffer for a month now, I want him so badly. Your puffer looks awesome!

Thanks! I wanted to do a reef with this tank but decided to do fowlr for now. Going to get a 180 in the future and think ill do reef with that.

So lately my water has been getting progressivly cloudier each day. Now i cant see from ine end to the other. All livestock are accpunted for. I dont dose anything as i dont have corals. Anyone got any ideas? Ill post pics of it.
