So, I go the sump filled and turned on. Here is the question: Should the water in the drain be so turbulent? It's 'belching' water out of the sump at times! There are no microbubbles in the tank. The Durso level seems fine. No fluctuations. As you can see...the return area looks fine. TIA!

So...I finally got my plumbing set up. I have a 90 gallon tank with a 1 inch bulkhead mounted on the bottom. This drains into a 32 gallon sump. The problem is that the water level in the sump is the same level throughout. Shouldn't the return area be lower than the drain area?

So I just hooked up a new ro/di 100 gpd filter. My tap water phosphates is reading 1.0. My Ro/Di water is reading .5 phosphates. I use an Aquarium Pharmaceuticals test. The tds of my final water is 0. Thanks guys.

I have a one inch maroon clown that was added last. He joined a coral beauty, watchman goby and 6 line wrasse. Well, the goby took a header out of a one inch hole in the roof and died...the 6 line went a couple of rounds with a powerhead...died....and the coral beauty died under mysterious...
