10 gallon stocking

Hey AA I was wondering whether I should get 3 pea puffers or a mated pair of shell dwelling chichlid? Please give me your pros and cons

I love cichlids so that would be my reasoning.

Pros: Cichlids are beautiful and great in their own tank.
Cons: Cichlids don't get on well with other species, so research and choose carefully.

(Don't really know much about puffers...)
